Conozco a Alejandro Veciana porque era mi vecino en el Pasaje Sert. Nos veíamos a través de las ventanas que estaban alineadas en ambos áticos del estrecho pasaje. Alejandro es el hijo de mi amiga Miriam Almanzar, estilista, y de Jordi Veciana, arquitecto. Con tanto talento y sensibilidad en casa, tenía que salir de este hijo único algo muy especial. Y así es. Alejandro, cuando era un niño, tocaba el saxofon y veía películas de autor, intereses exquisitos sorprendentes a tan temprana edad. Sin duda sus gustos eran afinados. Cuando cumplió 18 años, se fue a vivir a Nueva York, ciudad en la que sus padres se conocieron, para estudiar una de sus grandes pasiones: cine en la NYU. Entonces empezó un blog que tiene artículos maravillosos y en los que se puede apreciar su voz y su visión crítica en el medio audiovisual que recomiendo muchísimo The Insanity Review

THE INSANITY REVIEW.
Here are the new rules of the game:
- The filmmaker has to be alive.
- The “dinner” doesn’t have to be centered on food.
- The “dinner” should have nothing to do with the nationality of the filmmaker or their movies, it should relate to their character and artistic sensibility.
- The intention of this imaginary “dinner” is to have an in depth conversation about anything you want while enjoying food and/or drinks.
- The place must be in New York City.
